I'm talking about me (or maybe you, too)!
For the past week or so I have been obsessing over finding the perfect pair of wedding-day shoes.
And I need to stop.
See, this wouldn't be so hard if I were looking for a typical white or silver bridal shoe.
But, alas, I am not.
I am on the prowl for a size 8, satin, D'Orsay/Two-piece, 4-inch-heel, peep-toe, adorned with bow or brooch in the perfect-est shade of...fuschia.
Like...this shade:
Yep, mission almost impossible...
But, I have found two pairs of shoes that meet these criteria--some Loboutins and some Weitzmans that are beyond what I wish to pay for a one-time shoe.
That said. I either need to just say "yes" to one of the couture shoes and suck up the splurge OR venture into what was once 'unthinkable' territory for me...dyeables.
The good news is that I have found a few pairs of sexy white satin, dyeable shoes that fit my criteria and are really hot! Most of the dyeable options would also come in at less than half the price of the Loboutins or Weitzmans.
I'll show you what I found tomorrow...
Oh, if you dig the clutch I got it from this Ebay seller, who I came across in the helpful and eye-candyish bio of Knottie RedShoeGirl.

Pink Slingback
Manolos
I like the Luxious and have been debating that--not sure the color is rich enough...
To the Manolos...Oh.Muh.Gawd.
How long does the dye process take?
I think that as things for spring start coming out you might have better luck finding something cheaper. I would be hesitant to pay the money to dye the shoes not knowing exactly what color they would come out. But I'm sort of paranoid about things like that.
I agree with Sarah on trying your luck in the spring....I had a bad experience with a "dyeable" pair of shoes. Hopefully, if you take that option you'll have a much better experience.
And on a side note, I LOVE redshoegirl's bio. It's my 'go-to' bio for discounted wedding fashion leads.
